I thought: Actually, desolation was a good word. ‘The Desolation Of Smaug!’ I had read ‘The Hobbit’ to our children. Now…I can’t read.

I body-languaged to Bob: It doesn’t matter.

“C’mon, slowcoach!” he called. “We will have lunch at the top!”

He turned and launched himself at the path.
